The Summer Event Intern role is within the Front of House department located at the Acrisure Amphitheater. This is a non-exempt, hourly position reporting to the Front of House Manager. The internship offers an exceptional opportunity for students or individuals seeking hands-on experience in event operations, marketing, and customer service within a high-profile live event environment. Interns will gain comprehensive exposure to the day-of-event processes, collaborating with various departments such as Event Services and Marketing. Responsibilities include supporting marketing programs, assisting with patron and VIP experiences, managing press coordination, and helping with content capture and crowd management during live events.
This role is designed for energetic and enthusiastic candidates looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, people-centered setting. Interns will be expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with schedules varying throughout event days from May to September. The position requires in-person attendance at the Acrisure Amphitheater and participation in day-of-event security meetings. The internship experience not only builds practical event management skills but also fosters professional growth through exposure to various facets of live event production and customer engagement. Job Requirements
- Students must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week during event days Monday through Sunday between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. from May through September 2026
- Ability to work varied schedules as hours are not guaranteed
- Position requires the student to work in person at the Acrisure Amphitheater
- May be asked to work additional community events during the timeframe
Job Qualifications
- Related coursework and previous job, internship or volunteer experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft-based computer systems, including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop preferred but not necessary
- Responsible, self-starter, creative, enthusiastic, hard worker and works well with others
- Superior communication skills
- Extreme attention to detail
Job Duties
- Assist with the execution of marketing programs and promotions on site during event days
- Assist with day of show patron experience activation set up and execution
- Assist with day of show back of house set up
- Assist with coordination and management of press photographers on event days
- Assist with capturing photo and video content during event days
- Assist with VIP activations on event days including VIP area set up/preparations, patron check-in, and VIP area management
- Assist in sales of ticket promotions to upcoming shows as well as event day seat upgrades
- Assist with crowd management and other guest services items as they are identified
- Attend day of event security meetings
- Assist with community activations
- All other duties/responsibilities as assigned
