The Suite Attendant position, located within the Food and Beverage department, reports directly to the Food and Beverage Manager. This role is essential to ensuring a seamless guest experience during premium events held at their venues. The Suite Attendant is responsible for setting up suites prior to events, including arranging chafing dishes, plates, silverware, televisions, lighting, and creating the desirable ambiance. They verify and set up pre-game or pre-event orders and establish rapport by properly introducing themselves to suite hosts.

On game day or event day, the Suite Attendant takes orders for food and beverage, oversees the setup and continual replenishment of these items throughout the event, and serves guests with professionalism and attentiveness. Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the suite during and after the event is a critical function of this role. Suite Attendants also ensure proper billing procedures by obtaining timely signatures from hosts and are responsible for clearing and resetting suites for subsequent events. This position demands strong organizational skills, the ability to manage time effectively, and a high level of customer service.

Candidates for this role are expected to have a minimum of one year experience in foodservice, with supervisory experience preferred. Must be at least 19 years old and able to pass a credit check. The role requires excellent communication, guest service skills, the ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards, and the completion of necessary sanitation and alcohol service training. Physical demands include frequent walking, standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working under varying temperatures. The work environment is primarily at Sames Auto Arena, with duties performed both indoors and outdoors depending on event needs.

Job Duties

  • Pre-event suite set-up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting and overall ambiance in the suite
  • Verify and set-up all pre-game/event orders
  • Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself
  • Take and place game day food and beverage orders
  • Set-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event
  • Replenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils as needed
  • Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite throughout the event
  • Obtain signatures from the host on charges in a timely manner
  • Clear all items from the suite and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes in suite
  • Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions and check out with supervisor or manager
