Job Description

This position is for an as-needed receptionist role, with an hourly wage of $15.00. The receptionist at TPCS serves as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, students, and families, maintaining the school’s welcoming and secure environment. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks, maintaining safety protocols, and providing support to various school departments including assisting the school nurse and monitoring students in the absence of the principal. The ideal candidate will embody Christian values, demonstrate bold belief and enthusiasm, and engage in all communications with a Christ-like manner. In addition to strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with systems such as Google Suite and Microsoft Office will contribute positively to the candidate’s effectiveness in the role.

As a receptionist, responsibilities include handling incoming phone calls, greeting and processing visitor licenses using the Hall Pass system for security purposes, documenting student attendance related to tardiness and checkouts, and managing incoming packages to ensure proper distribution. The role also involves providing occasional support to the school nurse and assisting or monitoring students in situations when the principal is unavailable. Although experience in a school environment or as a receptionist is a plus, it is not strictly required, making this a suitable opportunity for individuals seeking to contribute to a faith-based school community while gaining valuable administrative experience. Job Duties

  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Greet visitors and process their licenses through the Hall Pass system

  • Assist and/or monitor students in the office when the principal is unavailable
