Job Requirements
- Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state or provincial regulations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service understanding guest needs and performing services efficiently and professionally
- Ability to perform administrative tasks such as completing transactions on computerized registers and performing close-out procedures
- Ability to stand for sustained periods
- Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Continuous repetitive movement with fingers, hands, wrists and arms
- Continuous grasping and reaching, often above shoulder level
- Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances used in performing services
- Ability to observe guest's hair including close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to communicate with guest regarding services offered and requested and guest's needs and wants
Job Qualifications
- Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state or provincial regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide quality consultations and professional guest service
- Previous experience in professional haircare services preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional education and skill development
Job Duties
- Provide haircuts, color and highlights, waxing and specialty services using proprietary tools and techniques
- Deliver exceptional guest service by understanding guest needs and providing quality consultations
- Perform administrative tasks including completing transactions on computerized registers and performing close-out procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and light housekeeping duties in the salon
- Participate in ongoing training seminars and annual recertification to stay updated with industry trends
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding services offered and requested
- Adhere to salon policies and quality standards at all times
