Job Requirements

Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state or provincial regulations
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Ability to provide exceptional guest service and quality consultations
Ability to perform administrative tasks such as completing transactions and light housekeeping
Standing for sustained periods
Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
Continuous repetitive movement with fingers, hands, wrists and arms
Ability to handle exposure to chemicals and fragrances
Ability to observe hair (including close vision, color vision and focus adjustment)
Ability to communicate effectively with guests

Job Qualifications

Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state or provincial regulations
Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality guest services
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
Ability to perform administrative duties such as transaction handling
Basic knowledge of hair care products and techniques

Job Duties

Perform haircuts, colors, highlights, waxing and specialty services
Provide quality consultations and exceptional guest service
Attend and participate in ongoing training sessions and recertifications
Complete transactions on computerized register and perform close-out procedures
Maintain cleanliness and perform light housekeeping duties
Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques through seminars and education
