Job Description
CorePower Yoga is the nation’s largest yoga studio brand, revered for its unique blend of intense physical workouts rooted in the mindfulness of yoga. With over 200 locations across the United States, digital livestream and on-demand classes, and thousands of passionate yoga teachers, CorePower Yoga is dedicated to sharing the transformative power of yoga with a diverse and expansive community. The company is grounded in a set of core values—empowering everyone, practicing gratitude, building community, growing forward, and laughing together—that not only shape its workplace culture but also drive its higher purpose: to power love from the inside out. This inclusive environment celebrates differences and fosters growth, creating an atmosphere where both employees and students can thrive and reach their full potential.
The CorePower Yoga Studio Experience Team (SET) plays a crucial role in maintaining the welcoming and serene atmosphere of each studio, directly impacting the student experience. This part-time role is perfect for individuals passionate about cleanliness, organization, and creating a space that invites calm and focus. As a SET member, you will be entrusted with ensuring the studio is always clean and ready for use, including disinfecting floors, walls, mirrors, windows, and all surfaces; maintaining tidy reception areas, changing rooms, and bathrooms; and keeping yoga props and equipment organized and sanitized. This position requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently while fostering the welcoming spirit that CorePower Yoga is known for.
In addition to contributing to a positive community environment, SET members receive a special discounted yoga membership, allowing deeper connection with the CorePower Yoga community and enhancing their own practice. This discounted membership includes retail discounts, Buddy Pass access, and reductions on teacher training programs. CorePower Yoga also offers SET members several employee perks, such as continued education opportunities, access to an Employee Assistance Program, and holiday pay at 1.5 times the regular rate for work on major holidays.
This role demands a commitment to a consistent schedule of up to six studio hours per month, with shifts often occurring during early mornings, evenings, and weekends to align with studio needs. Candidates should have prior cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred but not mandatory, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to lift and move equipment. The job is an excellent opportunity for those looking to engage with a vibrant community, sharpen their skills, and support a wellness-focused environment. CorePower Yoga is dedicated to equal employment opportunities and provides accommodations to ensure an accessible application process for all qualified individuals, including minorities, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, veterans, and people with disabilities.
