Job Description

CorePower Yoga is the nation’s largest yoga studio brand, renowned for blending physical workouts with the mindfulness of yoga to create transformative experiences for everyone who walks through their doors. Boasting over 200 locations nationwide along with digital livestream and on-demand classes, CorePower Yoga has become a leader in accessible, high-quality yoga instruction. The company emphasizes a people-first culture, valuing community, human connection, and a shared commitment to fostering positive change in both students and employees. This commitment is reflected in their core values, which include empowering everyone, practicing gratitude, building community, growing forward, and laughing together. These principles not only shape the way the team interacts but also influence every facet of the workplace culture, enabling CorePower Yoga to live its higher purpose of powering love from the inside out. They strive to create an inclusive environment where every individual can thrive, find joy in the present moment, and contribute meaningfully to the collective energy of the community.

The Studio Experience Team (SET) role at CorePower Yoga plays an important part in enhancing the overall student experience at each yoga studio. This part-time position, which requires up to six hours of studio shifts per month, is designed for individuals who are passionate about cleanliness and dedicated to maintaining a serene, welcoming environment. As a SET member, the individual is responsible for ensuring the yoga studio is always in optimal condition—clean, hygienic, and inviting—for the community to enjoy. The role involves detailed cleaning and disinfecting of all studio areas including floors, walls, mirrors, windows, and surfaces, as well as managing reception areas, changing rooms, bathrooms, and yoga equipment such as mats, blocks, and straps.

SET members also assist with restocking supplies, taking out trash and recycling, helping with laundry duties, and promptly reporting any maintenance or repair issues to management to maintain a smooth operation. The position requires reliability, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently and independently. CorePower Yoga also offers SET members a unique opportunity to deepen their connection to yoga through a special discounted Studio Experience Team All Access Membership, which includes retail discounts, buddy passes, and discounts on CPY teacher training programs. This membership enables SET members to further their personal practice and professional growth within the yoga community.

Beyond the immediate responsibilities, CorePower Yoga fosters a culture that celebrates milestones, uplifts team members, encourages growth, and embraces diversity. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities and provides accommodations throughout the application process to support individuals with disabilities. Working as part of the SET means more than just maintaining a studio; it's about contributing to a vibrant community bound by shared values and a dedication to making yoga accessible, enjoyable, and impactful for all.
