The Lead Student Worker role at Aramark is a unique opportunity that blends leadership with hands-on food service operations, primarily in an educational environment where the incumbent is also a student. This position is responsible for supervising, training, and managing food service operations to ensure food is prepared and served safely and efficiently. The Lead Student Worker produces and maintains work schedules, oversees daily activities, and ensures compliance with food safety and health regulations. This job demands a strong ability to multitask, communicate effectively with staff, and maintain accurate records related to food production, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
Further responsibilities include mentoring other food service workers, maintaining a sanitary and hazard-free environment, preparing orders to meet production needs, and filling shifts for absent employees. The role also involves maintaining food service standards by adhering to menu specifications, managing catering events, and ensuring all departmental policies and procedures are followed. The Lead Student Worker will often work alongside the Food Service Director or Manager and may be asked to perform cashier duties or attend staff meetings. Flexibility is required to occasionally work nights and weekends for catered events. Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules
