Job Requirements
- Able to climb stairs and lift up 50 lbs
- must be flexible and team-oriented
Job Qualifications
- Prior food or customer service experience or training preferred
- positive attitude, strong work ethic and level headedness
- punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy
- interest in and committed to Genuine Foods' mission to use food to help students enhance their minds, bodies and happiness
- must be able to work in a school environment
Job Duties
- Make menu items pursuant to recipes
- prepare raw foodstuffs to get ready for final cooking
- follow the lead of the Culinary Lead at all times
- coordinate with the kitchen team at all times
- cook and assemble all menu items pursuant to specifications
- stock and organize the kitchen area
- clean and maintain cooking utensils
- interact with scholars and teachers as needed to provide excellent service
- maintain clean service areas
- alert Culinary Lead of any workplace problems
- perform any other duties assigned
