Job Requirements
- Must be a current student matriculated at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Eligible for Federal Work Study with an accepted FWS award
- Reside within the State of Washington
- Must not work during scheduled class times
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Submit resume, cover letter, and fall semester academic schedule
- Resident advisors may not hold an FWS position

- Be able to work independently
- Previous front desk or receptionist experience preferred
Job Duties
- Inform students of available campus resources such as counseling, career services, finance services, academic support
- Handle sensitive information and communication with discretion and confidentiality in accordance with campus privacy policies e.g. FERPA
- Assist with use of office technology such as computers, printers, copiers, or other services
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies such as pamphlets, flyers, forms
- Ensure that visitors follow campus policies and security procedures such as checking IDs or signing in
- Assist with maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all
- Assist with management of mail and package distribution
- Greet visitors, students, faculty, and staff with a friendly and professional attitude
- Direct students, faculty, staff, and other visitors to the appropriate department or office
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, or event bookings for student organizations or departments
- Assist other campus departments or staff members as needed in their daily operations
- Accountable for tracking and reporting the amount of time worked
