Job Requirements

  • Must be a current student matriculated at DigiPen Institute of Technology
  • Eligible for Federal Work Study with an accepted FWS award
  • Reside within the State of Washington
  • Must not work during scheduled class times
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Submit resume, cover letter, and fall semester academic schedule
  • Resident advisors may not hold an FWS position

Job Duties

  • Inform students of available campus resources such as counseling, career services, finance services, academic support
  • Handle sensitive information and communication with discretion and confidentiality in accordance with campus privacy policies e.g. FERPA
  • Assist with use of office technology such as computers, printers, copiers, or other services
  • Ensure the front desk area is organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies such as pamphlets, flyers, forms
  • Ensure that visitors follow campus policies and security procedures such as checking IDs or signing in
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all
  • Assist with management of mail and package distribution
  • Greet visitors, students, faculty, and staff with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Direct students, faculty, staff, and other visitors to the appropriate department or office
  • Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, or event bookings for student organizations or departments
  • Assist other campus departments or staff members as needed in their daily operations
  • Accountable for tracking and reporting the amount of time worked
