Known for their exceptional customer service and quality pet care, LexPets employs a dedicated team that works collaboratively to ensure every pet receives personalized attention and professional care. As a community-focused business, LexPets also embraces a positive workplace culture that values honesty, responsibility, and a strong work ethic among its staff.
The role available is for a Student Front Desk Receptionist, an office administrator position within LexPets. This is a part-time job designed specifically for current students, offering a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience while balancing academic responsibilities. The position requires working approximately 10 to 15 hours per week, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, making it flexible for student schedules. The hourly wage ranges from $10 to $12. Although located off-campus, the role provides a unique chance to engage with a dynamic team in a pet-loving environment, enhancing both interpersonal and administrative skills.
The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring that every interaction is handled professionally and with care. The ideal candidate is upbeat, friendly, and confident with strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required to efficiently manage scheduling, billing, and client communications. While pet handling experience is preferred, it is not mandatory since training will be provided to ensure comfort and competency in interacting with the dogs. The position demands reliability, patience, and physical stamina to manage the office duties alongside occasional pet-related tasks. This pivotal role supports the overall smooth operation of LexPets and helps maintain the facility’s reputation for outstanding customer service and effective office administration.
