Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • able to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume operation
  • able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week with shifts at least 4 hours long
  • regular attendance and punctuality
  • must attend all required training sessions
  • ability to take direction from management and student leaders
  • maintain good hygiene and professional appearance
  • willing to work in a busy kitchen environment with exposure to heat noise and kitchen hazards
  • strong manual dexterity and ability to use hands for food preparation tasks

Job Qualifications

  • registered student currently enrolled at the university or show proof of registration at another institution
  • ability to follow food safety regulations and guidelines
  • positive and respectful attitude towards guests and team members
  • ability to work late nights weekends and varied shifts
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • assist full-time staff with preparation cooking and serving of food
  • cashier and handle money and UB cards
  • maintain sanitation standards in food preparation service and dining areas
  • chop slice dice cut fresh vegetables fruits and meats
  • clean dishes prep areas and perform general cleaning duties
  • set up breakdown and restock stations
  • provide excellent customer service and interact positively with guests
