With a strong focus on public sector and commercial clients, Guidehouse’s team of experts works collaboratively to deliver impactful outcomes that support mission success and operational excellence.

This job opportunity is for a Strategy & Transformation Consultant position at Guidehouse, supporting a large federal healthcare customer on an enterprise-wide strategy initiative. As a consultant in this role, you will contribute to evaluating, planning, and optimizing large and complex healthcare systems by working closely with clinical and administrative leaders. The role demands strong collaboration skills as you will work alongside senior team members and client stakeholders. You will be responsible for drafting current-state assessments, gap analyses, and future-state recommendations, as well as supporting the preparation of client-facing deliverables like slide decks and briefing materials. Effective communication skills are essential, as the position requires presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences and synthesizing stakeholder discussions into clear follow-up actions and decisions.

Additionally, the consultant will help improve internal processes by contributing to the enhancement of templates, review procedures, analytical tools, communication protocols, and knowledge repositories. This continuous improvement approach ensures the consulting team remains efficient and aligned with best practices and client expectations.

This role suits individuals who are proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in both structured and unstructured team environments. A strong background in healthcare, public health, health administration, or related fields is preferred, and experience in management consulting or strategy-focused roles will be valuable. Master’s degrees and prior exposure to federal or public sector healthcare environments are considered advantageous but not mandatory.

Guidehouse offers a flexible and competitive benefits package, reflecting its dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Benefits range from comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage to parental leave and 401(k) retirement plans, all designed to support employees' well-being and professional growth. You will also find opportunities for personal development, tuition reimbursement, and participation in community and corporate events.

Joining Guidehouse means becoming part of a committed team that values innovation, client impact, and continuous learning. This role provides a fantastic career growth path for those passionate about healthcare strategy and transformation consulting, offering the chance to engage in meaningful work that supports public healthcare systems and positive societal outcomes.
