Job Description

V2X is a leading global solutions provider specializing in integrating physical and digital infrastructure to support mission-critical operations from military bases to battlefields. With over 120 years of successful mission support, V2X is committed to enhancing security, streamlining logistics, and improving readiness for its clients worldwide. The company's $3.9 billion revenue and workforce of approximately 16,000 professionals enable it to work collaboratively with clients both domestically and internationally. V2X is grounded in a culture of integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism, values that guide every project and partnership.

The Strategic Communications Planner/Professional Writer position at V2X supports the United States Army Joint Modernization Command (USAJMC) at Fort Bliss, Texas. This role focuses on providing strategic planning and exercise support services to ensure the effectiveness and readiness of Army and partner nation training operations. The position is crucial in supporting Live Field Experiments (LFEs) such as Joint Warfighting Assessments (JWAs), Project Convergences (PCs), and Scalable Assessments and Experiments (SAEs), which are vital to the modernization and operational readiness of the Army. Collaborating with the USAJMC Operations Office, the Strategic Communications Planner is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing training requirements aligned with the Training and Doctrine Command's (TRADOC) Strategic Plan. The role involves contributing to the development of the USAJMC Campaign Plan (CAMPLAN) aimed at enhancing the execution of future LFEs and SAEs, setting conditions for forthcoming exercise cycles.

This position involves compiling After Action Review (AAR) data and transforming it into detailed reports, strategic briefings, and presentations for government customers. The role requires strong communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the Task Order Manager and government officials. The Planner expects to participate in meetings and conferences to represent V2X and support program objectives. A high level of professionalism and adaptability is needed as this role may require working irregular hours, including weekends, during periods of rotational experiment exercise support.

The Strategic Communications Planner must hold a SECRET security clearance and be willing to travel up to 20% annually for support missions, primarily within the continental United States but potentially overseas for 5 to 25 days per mission. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the modernization enterprise and institutional learning that directly impacts the United States Army's operational capabilities.

V2X promotes diversity and inclusion in its workforce, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds to join a corporate culture that values professionalism, integrity, and respect. As an equal opportunity employer, V2X ensures that employment decisions are made without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status. This role offers a dynamic and meaningful career path for professionals with experience in joint military exercise planning and strategic communications within defense environments.
