Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior retail or pet care experience is a plus
pass a drug screening (in applicable states)
be at least 16 years old
ability to work flexible schedules
physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

basic knowledge of animals and pet products
good communication and customer service skills
ability to lift heavy items (40-65 pounds)
ability to stand for long periods
flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
willingness to learn and participate in training programs
at least 16 years old

Job Duties

assist customers in selecting pet products and providing friendly service
process transactions accurately and efficiently as a cashier
stock shelves and maintain store displays
feed and care for store animals and clean their habitats
educate customers on pet care and product knowledge
handle merchandise and delivery unloading using proper equipment
support team members and provide backup when needed
