Job Requirements
- pass a drug screening where applicable
- be at least 16 years old
- have the ability to lift heavy items (40-65 pounds)
- stand for long periods
- maintain a friendly and helpful attitude
- demonstrate reliability and punctuality
- be flexible with work schedule
Job Qualifications
- basic knowledge of animals and pet products
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- physical ability to lift 40 to 65 pounds
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- age 16 or older
Job Duties
- assist customers in selecting pet products
- educate customers on pet care and product knowledge
- operate cash register and process transactions accurately
- stock shelves and maintain store cleanliness
- provide care for in-store animals including feeding and habitat cleaning
- unload delivery trucks safely
- carry purchases to customers' vehicles
