Job Requirements

minimum age of 16 years
pass a drug screening where applicable
ability to lift 40-65 pounds
ability to stand for extended periods
reliable and punctual
good communication skills
flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

knowledge of animals and pet products
experience in retail or customer service preferred
ability to communicate effectively with customers
ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 65 pounds
flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
ability to work well in a team environment
minimum age of 16 years

Job Duties

helping customers select appropriate toys and products for their pets
educating customers about pet ownership and care
stocking shelves and maintaining product displays
processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently
feeding and caring for store animals
cleaning and maintaining animal habitats
assisting customers by carrying purchases to their vehicles
