Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Previous related work experience preferred
Ability to work flexible schedules such as nights, weekends, and holidays
Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
Adherence to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior
Ability to frequently walk, reach, and talk
Occasionally able to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull
Ability to constantly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds
Constantly stand, handle, use fingers to grasp and perform repetitive motions (hands, wrist, and fingers)
Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Ability to execute multiple tasks with superior organizational skills and detail orientation

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only)
Previous related work experience preferred
CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only)
Knowledge of loss prevention or criminal justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only)
Proficient in basic mathematical computations and POS equipment operation (Cashier only)
Passionate and knowledgeable about outdoor hobbies such as fishing, hunting, competitive shooting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only)
Must meet federal and state requirements for selling and processing firearms transactions (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only)
Ability to qualify to obtain/maintain FOID card (Illinois only, Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only)

Job Duties

Provide prompt and friendly customer service to all team members and customers
Operate POS equipment, symbol, and telephone (Cashier only)
Engage customers by building rapport and connecting through sports and outdoor interests
Follow safety rules, operational instructions, and company procedures
Maintain inventory accuracy and support merchandising efforts
Handle various operational tasks with superior organizational skills and attention to detail
Assist in emergency response procedures and maintain situational awareness
