Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of retail experience
- Six months of supervisory experience
- Previous lead or grocery experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Knowledge of cash handling and safety policies
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain food handling certifications
- Ability to comply with company policies

- Ability to review operating statements and identify business trends
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of facility and safety control policies
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of safety policies
- Ability to follow plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation
- Knowledge and willingness to comply with company policies
- Ability and willingness to obtain food handling certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year retail experience and six months supervisory experience prefers
- Previous lead or grocery store experience preferred
- Attainment of local and state food handling certifications if applicable
Job Duties
- Assist Store Manager in ensuring financial integrity through cash accountability, key control, and security practices
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Maintain correct perishable stock levels using tools such as ads, order guides, and sales history
- Assist in training associates on presentation, freshness, pricing, and food handling
- Train associates on stocking and rotation of perishable products
- Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences
- Accurately record inventory levels and assist with customer service
- Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and safety policies
- Assist with other operational areas as directed by Store Manager
