Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in a retail environment
- Six months supervisory experience preferred
- Previous lead or grocery store experience preferred
- Ability to obtain required food handling certifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations including percentages
- Ability to learn and perform cash register functions and generate reports

- Previous lead or grocery store experience preferred
- Attainment of local and state food handling certifications if applicable
Job Duties
- Assist Store Manager in ensuring financial integrity through cash accountability and security adherence
- Follow company policies and ensure employee compliance
- Maintain correct perishable stock levels using inventory and sales tools
- Train associates in presentation, freshness, pricing, and food safety standards
- Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrence
- Accurately record inventory levels and assist with merchandise presentation
- Assist in ensuring customer needs are addressed efficiently
- Maintain compliance with sanitation standards and train associates accordingly
- Assist with other operational areas as directed by the Store Manager
