Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is one of the world’s leading coffeehouse chains, renowned for its commitment to crafting the finest coffee while fostering meaningful connections among customers and communities. Founded with a mission to inspire and nurture the human spirit — one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time — Starbucks has grown into a global brand that embodies quality, community, and a culture of care. The company’s coffeehouses are not just places to enjoy exceptional coffee, but vibrant spaces where people can gather, relax, and connect. Starbucks prides itself on creating a warm and welcoming environment where every cup of coffee sparks meaningful moments and connections. The brand is deeply invested in its partners (employees), offering industry-leading benefits and developmental experiences that empower each partner’s growth journey. Starbucks maintains a strong culture of inclusion and diversity, emphasizing equal opportunity and compliance with all employment laws, ensuring every partner feels valued and supported. Through strong leadership and community engagement, Starbucks continues to expand its positive impact globally.

This position is a leadership role within Starbucks Coffee Company, designed for individuals who are passionate about leading teams to create extraordinary customer experiences in a retail coffee environment. As a coffeehouse leader, you won’t just manage day-to-day operations—you will inspire and guide your team to deliver moments of connection and joy to every customer who walks through the door. This role requires a dynamic individual with a blend of operational, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with entrepreneurial spirit, to drive sales and foster a culture of mentorship and professional growth. A significant part of the role includes coaching and mentoring team members, ensuring consistent quality, engaging with the community, and meeting business objectives. The leadership role demands flexibility, including working full-time hours that extend beyond the usual 40 hours per week, covering early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Starbucks partners benefit from a comprehensive suite of perks and benefits that support their health, well-being, and financial security. These offerings include medical, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance options; paid parental leave; vacation and sick time; paid holidays; and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. Partners can take advantage of educational benefits such as full tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor's degree through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, student loan management resources, and ongoing learning opportunities. The company also supports work-life balance through backup care options and complies with relevant state and local employee leave laws. Starbucks is dedicated to creating inclusive and supportive workplaces where partners thrive and communities flourish. This is a unique opportunity to join a global brand that values passion, quality, community connection, and partner development. If you are ready to lead with heart and craft a rewarding career experience, Starbucks invites you to apply and connect with something bigger.
