Job Description
Starbucks Coffee Company is a leading global coffeehouse chain dedicated to crafting the world's finest coffee, one meaningful moment at a time. With a strong commitment to creating warm and welcoming spaces, Starbucks offers an environment where every cup of coffee sparks connection and fosters a sense of community. As a recognized leader in the specialty coffee industry, Starbucks combines quality beverages with a focus on customer experience, providing its partners and customers with a truly unique coffeehouse atmosphere.
Working at Starbucks means being part of more than just a coffee company; it is about building lasting relationships and making an impact in communities worldwide. Starbucks values its partners by investing in their growth journeys through developmental experiences and providing industry-leading benefits that promote both professional and personal growth.
The leadership role at Starbucks as a coffeehouse manager embodies this vision by not only overseeing daily business operations but also by inspiring and leading a dedicated team. This role ensures that each team member contributes to a positive and inclusive environment, where every guest feels welcome and valued. The position demands a dynamic leader with strong organizational skills, interpersonal savvy, and a passion for mentoring and coaching team partners with maturity and professionalism. Candidates with a proven entrepreneurial mindset and experience within sales-focused and customer service environments are particularly welcomed.
Starbucks empowers its leaders to guide their teams in delivering exceptional service and quality, fostering an environment where coffee is more than a product—it is a medium for connection and engagement. This role plays a critical part in upholding Starbucks’ brand promise and values while driving operational excellence and innovation at the store level.
As part of Starbucks’ commitment to equity and inclusion, the company offers competitive compensation based on various factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. The coffeehouse manager role involves a full-time schedule that can include working more than 40 hours per week with hours that may vary including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Moreover, Starbucks is committed to equal opportunity, ensuring that all qualified applicants receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics. The company also accommodates applicants with disabilities, reinforcing its inclusive culture.
In this role, the coffeehouse leader will be supported by robust benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid parental leave, paid vacation from the date of hire, sick time accrual, paid holidays, and personal days. Starbucks also offers unique educational benefits like 100% tuition coverage through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan in partnership with Arizona State University, as well as financial well-being programs and retirement planning opportunities.
Joining Starbucks as a coffeehouse leader means contributing to a global brand that honors the craft of coffee, uplifts its partners, and nurtures meaningful moments between people every day. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced retail environments, who are natural leaders, and who are dedicated to driving both team success and exceptional customer experiences.
