Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain renowned for its commitment to crafting the world’s finest coffee and fostering meaningful moments of connection within communities. Established as a leader in the specialty coffee industry, Starbucks is more than just a coffee retailer; it is a cultural icon that inspires millions to experience the joy of coffee in an inviting and warm environment. The company thrives on building relationships, encouraging personal and professional growth among its partners (employees), and maintaining a dedication to quality, sustainability, and community impact. With thousands of stores worldwide, Starbucks continuously reinvents the coffeehouse experience to meet the evolving tastes and preferences of its diverse customer base. The company cherishes its core values of warmth, inclusiveness, and respect, creating an inclusive workplace where partners are empowered to deliver exceptional service and innovative coffee experiences.

The role of a Coffeehouse Leader at Starbucks is integral to maintaining this standard of excellence and connection. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about leadership, coffee craftsmanship, and customer experience. As a Coffeehouse Leader, you will be more than a manager—you will be a mentor, motivator, and ambassador of the Starbucks brand. Your daily responsibilities will involve leading and coaching a team that is dedicated to delivering not only high-quality coffee but also memorable moments for every customer who walks through the door. Your leadership will inspire your team to embody Starbucks’ values of warmth, collaboration, and integrity, ensuring that the coffeehouse remains a welcoming space that fosters community ties.

This is a full-time employment opportunity that demands dedication and versatility. The work schedule often exceeds 40 hours per week and requires flexibility to cover early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday hours. Starbucks recognizes the hard work and commitment of its partners and offers industry-leading benefits to support their well-being and growth. These include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, paid parental leave, vacation and sick leave, and various financial well-being programs. Additionally, Starbucks supports educational advancement through the College Achievement Plan, which covers 100% of tuition costs for a first-time bachelor’s degree via an online program in partnership with Arizona State University.

Starbucks Coffee Company is committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse workplace where each partner can thrive. The company values individuals with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for customer service. Candidates with retail or customer service management experience, military service, or a combination of both are encouraged to apply. As a leader, you will be entrusted with coaching and mentoring your team members with professionalism and maturity, shaping not only the success of your store but also the careers and experiences of those you lead. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact your community positively, promote quality service, and grow within a supportive and dynamic corporate environment. Join Starbucks and be part of a brand that connects with something bigger than coffee—connecting people, communities, and aspirations through every cup.
