Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain known for its commitment to crafting the world's finest coffee and fostering meaningful connections within communities. Founded in 1971, Starbucks has grown to become a leader in the specialty coffee industry, with thousands of stores worldwide. The company prides itself on creating warm and welcoming spaces where customers can enjoy quality coffee while experiencing moments of connection and joy. Starbucks is not just a place to grab a beverage; it is a community hub that values people, quality, and value above all else. The company's dedication to innovation, customer service excellence, and ethical sourcing has established it as a trusted brand globally.

This role is for a coffeehouse leader who is passionate about crafting exceptional coffee experiences while leading a team that embodies the spirit of hospitality and community engagement. As a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks, you will do more than manage operations—you will inspire and mentor a team that creates meaningful moments for every customer who walks through the door. This position offers an opportunity to lead with both craft and heart, ensuring that the coffeehouse remains a beloved gathering place for the community. It involves hands-on leadership in a dynamic, sales-focused environment and requires strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of retail or customer service management experience or four or more years of US Military service. Leadership skills combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and professional maturity are essential to coach and mentor team partners effectively. Starbucks emphasizes the growth journey of its employees and provides robust developmental experiences alongside industry-leading benefits. The role requires a commitment to working full-time with flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This fast-paced, rewarding environment offers a chance to make an impact, build lasting relationships, and contribute to something bigger than oneself.

Starbucks partners and their families enjoy an extensive range of benefits designed to support their health, wellbeing, and financial security. These benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options, paid parental leave, paid vacation from the date of hire, sick time, paid holidays, personal days, and participation in a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching. Additionally, Starbucks provides unique educational benefits such as the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, offering 100% upfront tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor's degree through Arizona State University’s online program. The company also offers financial well-being programs, student loan management resources, and backup care. Starbucks is committed to equal opportunity employment and reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities, fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace environment.
