The role available is a leadership position at this Circle K store, requiring a flexible availability schedule due to varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, typically involving approximately 50 hours per week. As a manager, the successful candidate will supervise a team of at least two full-time employees, which may include Assistant Managers, Lead Representatives, and Customer Service Representatives. The manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training a motivated team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain store appearance and standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling staff to meet business needs effectively, developing task assignments, and ensuring compliance with company policies including safety and cash management. The manager will foster positive relationships with suppliers and the community, handle customer complaints professionally, and maintain the integrity of the store's physical space.
In addition to supervisory duties, this role involves ongoing employee training and development, encompassing safety, customer service, cash handling, and performance assessments via Workday. Regular communication with employees and the District Manager is vital to maintain a cohesive team environment and address store needs proactively.
Financial responsibilities entail analyzing sales and expenses to optimize profits, managing budgets and forecasts, safeguarding all monetary transactions, and promptly reporting discrepancies. The manager also ensures compliance with employment law postings and completes reporting requirements accurately and on time.
This job requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a range of environmental conditions, including exposure to temperature extremes and occasional lifting of materials up to 50 pounds. The work environment primarily consists of indoor duties but also requires some outdoor tasks such as cleaning and maintenance.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 to 2 years of retail work experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- ability to supervise and train use of equipment and materials in specified job descriptions
- ability to manage functions in customer service, lead and assistant roles
- ability to use computer for reports, inventory control, cash control, employment forms
- valid driver’s license and dependable transportation

Job Qualifications
