It prides itself on fostering a warm and welcoming environment that encourages both customers and partners to connect and share their stories over a great cup of coffee. Starbucks is not just a coffee retailer—it is a company deeply invested in its employees and community, actively promoting growth, development, and inclusivity within its workforce.

This particular role is focused on leadership within the coffeehouse setting, emphasizing the importance of managing and inspiring a team that champions both the craft of coffee making and the creation of genuine customer experiences. As a coffeehouse leader, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of cultivating a space that feels like a community hub, where customers feel valued and welcomed every day. This position involves overseeing operations, ensuring high-quality product delivery, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The leader will also work closely with team members to develop their skills, nurture their professional growth, and foster a collaborative, positive work environment.

Starbucks invests heavily in its partners’ growth journey, offering developmental experiences and leading industry benefits. This role is ideal for individuals who have prior management experience in retail or customer service and possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. An entrepreneurial mindset, combined with leadership capabilities and a passion for building meaningful connections, is crucial. The employment type typically expects full-time commitment, with the ability to adapt to variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Starbucks provides a comprehensive benefits package that supports partners and their families, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance options, disability coverage, paid parental leave, vacation, sick time, and paid holidays. Additionally, partners have access to retirement plans with employer matching, stock programs, tuition coverage through an online university program, and various financial well-being tools. The company also ensures compliance with applicable state and local laws concerning employee benefits and leave, with accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

The role expects candidates to bring a strong sense of leadership and mentorship to the team, helping to coach and empower team members with maturity and professionalism. This position offers the opportunity not just to lead a business but to make an impact in a meaningful, community-centered environment where quality and value are paramount. Starbucks is committed to equal opportunity employment and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender identity, age, national origin, veteran status, disability, or any other protected characteristic, reinforcing its commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
