The company prides itself on delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences while fostering a culture rooted in family values and community involvement. Panda Express is committed to the professional and personal development of its associates, providing a supportive environment where team members are inspired to better their lives and contribute positively to their communities.
This role is for a Store Manager position within Panda Express, offering an hourly pay range of $27 to $30. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of a single Panda Express store. This leadership role requires managing and directing associates to meet financial goals while ensuring outstanding guest experiences. The position includes hiring staff, overseeing operations, and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. To prepare you for success, Panda Express provides an 8-week (or more) paid Store Management Leadership Training program, mentorship, and ongoing career and leadership development. This comprehensive training covers all operational aspects to equip you with the skills necessary to lead your store effectively.
The company offers a wide range of benefits including free meals during shifts, generous compensation with bonus opportunities, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance, short-term disability and cancer income protection insurance for full-time employees, 401K with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, bereavement leave, and many discounts such as theme parks and gym memberships. Panda Express also supports continued education through scholarships and offers an associate referral bonus. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to adapt quickly, manage conflicts, and maintain clear, effective communication. Physical demands include the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a kitchen environment with hot and noisy conditions.
Panda Express is committed to equal opportunity employment and embraces diversity and inclusion, complying with all federal, state, and local laws related to workplace accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Reasonable accommodations are available to applicants with disabilities to ensure a fair hiring process. Panda Express values individuals who are passionate about leadership and customer service and are ready to grow their careers within a well-established and respected organization that prioritizes both business success and the welfare of its employees.
