Job Description

Panda Express stands as a beacon of success and cultural pride in the American Chinese restaurant industry. Established in 1983 in Glendale, California, Panda Express has flourished to become the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States, boasting nearly 2,800 locations worldwide. With a dedication to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences, Panda Express does not just focus on food but also on fostering a nurturing workplace that values family, professional growth, and community engagement. The company is deeply committed to the professional and personal development of its associates, offering a career path with meaningful progression and comprehensive training opportunities.

As a Store Manager at Panda Express, you embark on a key leadership role where your responsibilities center on the overall operation and success of a single store. This position requires an experienced leader who can effectively hire, manage, and direct the team to achieve financial targets while simultaneously ensuring delivery of exceptional guest experiences. Panda Express supports new managers by providing an extensive paid Store Management Leadership Training program that spans eight or more weeks to prepare them comprehensively for their duties. This role demands a dynamic individual capable of fostering a strong team environment, managing day-to-day operations, and driving sales growth in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

The Store Manager's role is crucial in maintaining Panda Express's reputation for quality service and operational excellence. You will be expected to oversee store functions, maintain compliance with food safety regulations, and provide hands-on leadership that motivates and inspires the team. In addition to operational management, the position offers opportunities for ongoing career and leadership development, including access to continuous education assistance and scholarships, ensuring that your growth aligns with the company’s trajectory. Panda Express is devoted to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where team members can thrive, with numerous benefits such as health insurance options, paid time off, employee discounts, and robust compensation packages including bonuses.

Joining Panda Express means becoming part of a proud tradition that values hard work, respect, and community involvement. You will be empowered to make a tangible difference at both the store level and in the greater community, reflecting the company’s long-standing family values and commitment to diversity and equal opportunity. The role not only offers a promising career path but also the chance to lead a thriving restaurant team with the backing of a major industry leader committed to your success and well-being.
