The role of General Manager at Braum's is crucial in executing the company's brand strategy while fostering a vision, mission, and values that enhance the overall customer experience and maximize sales. The General Manager oversees the daily operations of the food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales, ensuring that every area operates smoothly and efficiently. The General Manager also maintains high standards of inventory management, equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and safety, thereby supporting a customer-centric culture focused on guest service and food quality.

This position comes with a competitive annual compensation package ranging from $64,000 to $72,500 and an appealing bonus program guaranteed at the maximum level during the first 12 weeks of employment, paid bi-weekly. The General Manager works a rotating three-week schedule averaging 45 hours per week, with shifts from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm. The role reports directly to the District Manager and requires a dynamic individual capable of adapting to changing customer and employee needs, communicating effectively with leadership, and building a successful team environment founded on trust and integrity.

Ideal candidates for this position should demonstrate a strong customer focus, a high standard of work ethic, an ability to train and develop team members, and excellent organizational skills. They should have a knack for analyzing report results, following procedures meticulously, and driving initiatives to achieve store performance goals. With 3 to 5 years of experience managing and leading a retail store unit, preferably with some college education or an associate degree, the General Manager at Braum's plays a pivotal role in the store's ongoing success and in delivering an exceptional shopping and dining experience that aligns with Braum's reputed standards. Braum's also requires that candidates are at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and successfully pass a criminal background check and job-fit assessment as part of the onboarding process. Job Duties

  • Oversees the daily operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales
  • Monitors inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed
  • Ensures that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly
  • Teaching, coaching and providing leadership to the store crew members and ensures that unit goals are achieved
  • Provide an enhanced customer-centric culture that includes consistent guest service and food quality
