Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of retail management experience
  • Ability to oversee customer service and provide training and coaching
  • Strong leadership skills to maintain high employee retention and productivity
  • Ability to implement merchandising and marketing programs
  • Experience in using profit and loss and store reports
  • Ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty programs
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment in compliance with health and sanitation standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Valid drivers license and automotive liability insurance
  • Ability to multi-task and perform physical duties including bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use profit and loss and store reports for store management
  • Experience in managing cash handling and fuel transactions
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in training and coaching employees
  • Prior retail management experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and perform physical duties such as bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid drivers license with automotive liability insurance

Job Duties

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
  • Maintain high employee retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity
  • Implement all merchandising and marketing programs
  • Use profit and loss statements and store reports to drive changes and improvements
  • Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the rewards loyalty program
  • Ensure store cleanliness and safety, comply with health and sanitation procedures, and maintain full product stock
  • Communicate effectively through excellent oral and written communication and computer skills
