This company is a well-established restaurant operation that focuses on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining efficient daily operations in high-volume store settings. Specializing in the food and beverage industry, the restaurant prides itself on providing a welcoming atmosphere, quality menu offerings, and consistent standards across its locations. With a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction, the company invests in the training and development of its staff to ensure optimal performance and long-term growth opportunities within the organization. The company's commitment to operational excellence and customer service makes it a strong employer in the hospitality sector, offering roles that provide leadership experience and hands-on involvement in store management.
The Store Lead role is a critical managerial position designed to support the General Manager by managing day-to-day restaurant operations. This role is tasked with overseeing store functions during assigned shifts, ensuring that all team members contribute to exceeding customer expectations. The Store Lead delegates responsibilities, executes operational procedures such as setup and breakdown during shifts, and manages point of sale system operations including discounts and voids while reconciling cash at day’s end. Additionally, the Store Lead ensures the implementation and adherence to all store systems like inventory tracking, recipe compliance, and waste management.
Beyond operational duties, the Store Lead plays a vital role in team leadership, motivating, coaching, and training staff to excel in their roles. This position includes participating in hiring processes, onboarding new employees, and providing ongoing feedback and support to improve team performance. The role requires strong interpersonal communication skills to address customer inquiries or complaints effectively both in-person and over the phone. Compliance with safety standards and maintenance of professional appearance are key expectations.
Work in this role occurs in a fast-paced environment that demands physical endurance – from standing and walking long periods to lifting and moving heavy items. Candidates must be able to adapt to various temperatures and work conditions, including exposure to hot equipment and confined spaces. There is no requirement for previous experience, but individuals must complete necessary training and demonstrate the ability to perform multiple tasks independently and with the team.
Overall, this position offers individuals an opportunity to gain leadership experience in restaurant management, develop communication and operational skills, and work within a supportive team environment. The employment type is generally full-time with varied shift schedules based on business needs.
