Job Requirements

  • Ability to verify merchandise against receipts and use markers for identification
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Flexibility to work all shifts including Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays
  • Ability to lift and maneuver items up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of store merchandise and layout
  • Ability to read and interpret reports, tickets, and UPC labels
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
  • Willingness to learn and adapt through provided training

Job Duties

  • Open doors and greet customers with a friendly welcome
  • Distribute AFW flyers and brochures to customers
  • Verify merchandise against receipts and mark with a bold 'S' to prevent multiple merchandise claims
  • Report suspicious activity and customer issues to management
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store entrance and shopping cart areas
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide basic resolutions to issues
  • Cross-train for cashier duties and coordinate effectively with other departments
