Job Requirements

- retail or customer service experience
- experience working with children and children’s events

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events simultaneously including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients across all age groups by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities like face painting
- facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
- communicate effectively with clients and store team members
- complete administrative duties including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adapt event plans based on client feedback and needs
- create emergency backup plans
- ensure client satisfaction with all scheduled events
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
- assist customers with shopping and locating products
- provide fast, friendly checkout experiences
- promote Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- support omnichannel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- participate in truck unloading, stocking, planogram processes, and merchandise recovery
- perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
- interact respectfully with customers and team members
- cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
