Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 to 2 years of retail work experience or equivalent education and training
- Ability to supervise and train for use of equipment and materials in customer service roles
- Ability to manage functions listed in customer service job descriptions
- Ability to use or acquire skills necessary to use a computer for store operations
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
- Open availability
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English
- Physical ability to perform essential duties including lifting, bending, pushing and pulling
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to sit for long periods
- Food service and safety certifications may be required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of retail work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to supervise and manage customer service and sales functions
- Ability to use computer systems for reports, inventory and cash control
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English
- Food safety management certification may be required
Job Duties
- Directly supervises the activities of multiple full-time employees including assistant managers and customer service representatives
- Recruits, hires and trains employees ensuring excellent customer service
- Manages store cleanliness, stocking, organization and appearance to company standards
- Schedules employees within company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain store image
- Develops positive professional relationships with suppliers and resolves customer complaints
- Conducts ongoing performance appraisals and training in customer service, safety and cash management
- Analyzes sales and expenses, budgets and forecasts profit and loss, safeguards store funds
