Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 to 2 years of retail work experience or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience preferred
  • ability to supervise and train for use of equipment and materials listed in CSR, LSR and SA job descriptions
  • ability to supervise and manage listed functions
  • ability to use computer or acquire relevant skills
  • valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • ability to have open availability
  • ability to communicate orally and in writing in English
  • ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described
  • ability to work in described conditions
  • ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • ability to sit for long periods
  • food server certificate (e.g. ServSafe) and food safety management certification may be required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years retail work experience preferred
  • ability to supervise and train others
  • skills in using computer and completing reports
  • effective communication skills in English
  • valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • knowledge of cash control and inventory management
  • ability to conduct performance appraisals

Job Duties

  • Directly supervises activities of 2 or more full-time employees
  • recruits, hires and trains employees ensuring excellent customer service
  • develops, manages and assigns tasks to maintain store cleanliness and organization
  • schedules employees to meet business needs and maximize service
  • promotes and resolves customer complaints professionally
  • prepares performance appraisals and provides feedback
  • trains employees on safety, customer service, and cash handling
  • communicates effectively with all employees and Market Manager
  • evaluates store needs and develops action plans
  • organizes and maintains store files and manuals
  • manages inventory and merchandise display
  • analyzes sales and expenses to maximize profits
  • budgets and forecasts P&L lines
  • safeguards all money received and disbursed
  • reports discrepancies to Market Manager
