Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently
- Visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading small details and viewing computer screens
- Availability to work full-time approximately 40 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Compassionate and customer-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving store services and procedures
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues
- Giving warm and friendly greetings and assisting customers in locating products
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks and credit card transactions
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing and managing inventory
- Supporting opening and closing store activities when needed
- Assisting multiple store departments including photo, beauty, and pharmacy by ensuring they are stocked and operational
- Advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs to customers
