Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- able to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- able to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- visual acuity to perform tasks involving small parts and details
- availability for part-time, approximately 25 hours per week
- willing to support various departments including pharmacy
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic math skills for cash handling
- adaptable to a fast-paced retail environment
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
- greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and assisting with locating products
- accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management
- supporting store opening and closing activities as needed
- providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring stock and operational readiness
- assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as part of career development
- embracing and advocating new CVS services and loyalty programs
