Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as computer use and visual inspection of small parts
- Availability for part-time work averaging 29 hours per week
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Willingness to support various departments including photo, beauty, and pharmacy as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service with compassion and care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Basic cash handling and transaction skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new services and technologies
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving service issues
- Giving a warm and friendly greeting and offering assistance locating items
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
- Supporting opening and closing store activities when needed
- Providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty
- Assisting pharmacy personnel including working regular shifts as part of career development
- Embracing and promoting new CVS services and loyalty programs
