Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
- lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- visual acuity to perform activities such as reading and inspecting small details
- ability to provide friendly and compassionate customer service
- ability to operate cash registers and manage transactions
- flexibility to support opening and closing duties
- willingness to assist in multiple retail departments
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- customer-focused attitude
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues
- giving a warm and friendly greeting to customers and offering assistance
- accurately performing cashier duties handling cash, checks and credit card transactions
- maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves and completing inventory tasks
- supporting opening and closing store activities when needed
- providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty
- assisting pharmacy personnel when needed as part of career development
- advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
