Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Remaining upright on feet for extended periods
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- Having close visual acuity to perform tasks like reading and visual inspection involving small details
- Willingness to work part-time hours
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in retail or customer service settings is advantageous
- Ability to provide compassionate and customer-focused service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and able to work a part-time schedule typically around 24 hours per week
- Comfortable with cashier operations and maintaining inventory
- Ability to adapt to new services and company programs
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in interactions, actively identifying and resolving service issues
- Giving warm and friendly greetings, maintaining eye contact, offering assistance to customers
- Accurately processing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions in compliance with company policies
- Maintaining sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, completing inventory tasks
- Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed
- Providing customer support across store departments including photo and beauty, ensuring full stock and operational status
- Assisting pharmacy personnel during regular shifts as part of career development opportunities
- Advocating and embracing new CVS services and loyalty programs
