Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain upright for sustained periods
- ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
- close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and inspecting small details
- availability for specified shifts Monday through Sunday with no flexibility
- commitment to work every weekend
- physically able to perform lifting and standing requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
- ability to embrace and advocate for health care services and loyalty programs
- capable of working independently and in a team environment
- good communication skills with bilingual English and Spanish skills preferred
Job Duties
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
- give a warm and friendly greeting while maintaining eye contact and offering assistance
- accurately perform cashier duties handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies
- maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory
- support opening and closing store activities as needed
- provide customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational
- assist pharmacy personnel during busy periods and participate in growth opportunities
- advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs
