Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- able to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- able to occasionally lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force, frequently up to 10 lbs
- good visual acuity for tasks involving computer viewing and small detail inspection
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- previous experience in retail or customer service setting
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- basic math skills for cashier duties
- willingness to learn and adapt to new services and programs
Job Duties
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion
- greet customers warmly and assist them in locating items
- perform cashier duties accurately handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- maintain sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
- support opening and closing store activities
- provide customer support across departments including photo and beauty ensuring full stock and operational readiness
- assist pharmacy personnel during regular shifts to support career development
- advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs
