Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • remaining upright on feet for sustained periods
  • lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, negligible force regularly including overhead lifting
  • visual acuity for viewing computer terminals, reading, and inspecting small parts
  • previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

  • ability to manage inventory and restocking tasks

Job Duties

  • Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs
  • demonstrate compassion and care in all interactions
  • actively identify and resolve potential service issues
  • give warm and friendly greetings while maintaining eye contact
  • help customers locate additional items
  • accurately perform cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies
  • maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed
  • support opening and closing store activities when needed
  • provide customer support to all departments including photo and beauty
  • ensure departments are fully stocked and operational
  • stay current with updated services and tools
  • assist pharmacy personnel when necessary, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth opportunities
  • embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs
