Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand upright for sustained periods
- Capacity to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently
- Visual acuity to perform detailed tasks such as computer work and visual inspections
- Ability to work flexible hours including overnight shifts as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail or customer service settings preferred
- Ability to anticipate and resolve customer service issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills for cashier duties
- Familiarity with store operations and inventory management
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care in interactions
- Giving a warm and friendly greeting while maintaining eye contact and offering assistance locating items
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory management tasks
- Supporting opening and closing store activities when needed
- Providing customer support to departments such as photo and beauty ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Assisting pharmacy personnel as needed including working regular pharmacy shifts
- Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
