Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 to 2 years of retail work experience or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience preferred
  • Ability to supervise and train for use of equipment, tools and materials listed in CSR, LSR and SA job descriptions
  • Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in CSR, LSR and SA job descriptions
  • Ability to use computer or acquire necessary computer skills for the store
  • A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • Ability to have open availability
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English
  • Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions
  • Ability to work in described conditions
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to sit for long periods
  • Certificates and licenses such as Food Server certificate and Food Safety Management certification may be required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of retail work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to supervise and train employees
  • Ability to use computer systems for reports and inventory control
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial reports
  • Food safety certification such as ServSafe may be required

Job Duties

  • Directly supervises the activities of 2 or more full-time employees
  • Recruits, hires and trains enthusiastic employees
  • Develops, manages and assigns tasks to maintain store cleanliness and organization
  • Schedules employees to maximize customer service and maintain store image
  • Implements non-discriminatory management practices
  • Develops positive relationships with suppliers
  • Promotes excellent customer service and resolves complaints
  • Prepares regular performance appraisals and feedback
  • Trains employees on safety, cash handling and company standards
  • Maintains effective communication with employees and District Manager
  • Develops and implements action plans to meet store objectives
  • Manages store files, reports, merchandise stocking, and pricing
  • Analyzes sales and expenses to maximize profits
  • Safeguards money and accounts for cash flow
  • Notifies District Manager of discrepancies
