The role of Stocking Site Associate-Driver (CDL A) at Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is a dynamic and vital position within the Texas-Terrell facility. This full-time operations job involves safely and efficiently operating a local route delivery vehicle, primarily delivering hard goods, compressed gas cylinders, and associated products to semiconductor and other industrial customers. The position requires significant physical activity, including loading and unloading cylinders at customer sites, and demands a keen attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. The schedule is first shift, allowing drivers to be home on nights and weekends.
As a Truck Driver - Warehouse Associate, the individual will be responsible not only for driving but also for completing various warehouse duties including shipping/receiving, inventory control, and purchase order receiving. The role requires operating forklifts, handling hazardous materials in compliance with DOT regulations, and maintaining accurate transaction paperwork. Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections are mandatory to ensure operational safety and reliability.

- valid Class A CDL
- current Hazmat Endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days
- minimum age of 21 years
- at least two years driving experience or completion of truck driver training
- no preventable accidents or moving violations in past 2 years
- no alcohol-related convictions in past 10 years
- current medical examiner's certificate or ability to pass DOT physical
- ability to read and write in English

Job Duties
- Provide high standard of customer service while delivering compressed gas cylinders and hard goods to semiconductor customers
- unload products and move them to customer use points and reload returned empty cylinders
- spend approximately 30% of the day driving with remaining time dedicated to delivery, cylinder handling, shipping orders, paperwork, customer interaction, and vehicle inspections
- ensure accurate paperwork for customer transactions
- complete hazardous material shipping order papers in accordance with DOT/TC regulations
- placard vehicle according to hazardous material regulations and standards
- conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections noting defects or deficiencies
- identify vehicle repair or maintenance needs and ensure timely completion minimizing operational disruption
- operate various equipment including forklifts and interface with internal and external customers
- perform warehouse duties including shipping/receiving, inventory control, and purchase order receiving
- prepare cylinders and create certificates of analysis (COA)
- use MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for related tasks
