Job Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent work experience
Ability to demonstrate proficiency in mathematics
Strong communication skills
Keen interest in animals and their care
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
No supervisory responsibilities

Job Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent work experience
Proficiency in mathematics and basic accounting relationships
Above average communication skills
Keen and genuine interest in animal welfare and care
Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

Be responsible for the maintenance and inventory across the entire Pet Care Center
Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, priced, and displayed to create a great presentation for our guests
Process register transactions in a way that creates a great experience for each guest
Be proficient within our selling model and support guest interactions as needed
Have a strong interest in animal welfare and support animal care procedures to maintain pet health
Complete and apply training programs to maintain a high level of expertise of their role
Promote a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration
Adhere to established operational guidelines, policies, and procedures
Complete other duties and special projects as assigned
Evaluate guest inquiries and refers to the Leader on Duty as needed
Utilize selling behaviors to provide an amazing guest experience
Contribute to a safe environment by maintaining safety protocols
Be a part of a collaborative culture centered on pet health and wellness needs
Engage in career development and participate in growth programs
