Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
  • Knowledge of bar and restaurant operations
  • Ability to handle guest complaints effectively
  • Team leadership and training abilities
  • Capability to maintain inventory and manage cash drawers
  • Must complete background check
  • Pre-employment screenings including drug testing for applicable roles

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or gaming industry preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of restaurant and bar operations
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Basic inventory management skills
  • Proficiency in scheduling and staffing management
  • Ability to train and mentor team members
  • Understanding of cash handling procedures
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends

Job Duties

  • Supervise all employees engaged in bartending and serving for a specific outlet
  • Review manifest and staffing levels to determine appropriate work assignments for the staff
  • Check with cooks to determine menu changes, substitutions or deletions for the day and notify staff
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints or concerns in accordance with standard procedures
  • Monitor silverware and plate status and order items as needed with budget constrictions taken into account
  • Develop schedules to reflect staffing levels needed to give optimal guest service
  • Check out restaurant cashiers, cocktail servers or other employees with cash drawers to ensure cash balances
  • Train new employees and update all employees on new procedures or policies
  • Conduct a physical inventory of bar ware and requisition replacement items as needed
  • Coach and counsel all employees when needed to reinforce department and company policy and procedures
  • Maintain a well-informed shift by conducting daily shift meetings
  • Department walk throughs are done on a daily basis to assure cleanliness and all equipment is operational
  • Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends
  • Other duties as assigned
