Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen supervisory role
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform duties in a kitchen environment
- Proficiency in inventory management and basic administrative tasks
Job Qualifications
- Experience supervising in a stewarding or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards including Department of Health and OSHA regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to train and motivate team members
- Organizational and inventory management skills
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and equipment maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas including Marketplace Dish Room, Team Dining Room, 630 Park Steakhouse, Tony's of North Beach Italian Restaurant and Casino Bars
- Prepare and distribute assignments to the kitchen workers while reviewing priorities and ensuring health standards are met
- Ensure kitchens and equipment are in good working order to maintain a clean and hazard-free work area in compliance with Department of Health, OSHA, Graton Gaming Commission and resort standards
- Oversee maintenance of all machinery and equipment in stewarding department
- Assist with food safety compliance
- Assist Executive Steward/Assistant Executive Steward with administrative duties
