Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years relevant experience in high quality, high volume establishments
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • knowledge of sanitation and proper chemical usage
  • knowledge of fire procedures
  • knowledge of HACCP
  • effective supervisory skills
  • effective communication skills
  • strong problem solving skills
  • ability to build and maintain working relationships with staff

Job Duties

  • Write daily task lists for lead stewards in designated areas
  • check all back of house food and beverage areas for cleanliness and functionality
  • implement cleaning schedules and training
  • check all operating equipment daily
  • communicate maintenance and personnel issues to Executive Assistant Steward
  • control breakage and waste
  • assign work for efficient use of equipment
  • ensure compliance with company and departmental rules, policies, and procedures
  • ensure safety equipment is used for appropriate tasks
  • plan, manage, and monitor work while coaching staff and building professional relationships
  • perform other related duties as assigned
